MEHOW is a quick instruction on how to pronounce my name.
At eighteen I took a chance and decided to move to England, since then I’ve heard all kinds of variations of my name Michał, or Michael in English. Over time I came up with an easy way for others to say it by combining the words ME+HOW, which sound exactly like my first name.
Being a migrant always will be a big part of my personal identity as this journey has taught me that I am able to overcome any inconvenience on my way.
The same theme resonates in my creative practice as I am confident that any goal can be achieved if you approach it with an open mindset and persistent work. As a result, I recently graduated from the University of the Arts, London where I developed my passion for visual communication.

CHANGE – 30 handmade posters on positive change
I believe that good design starts with a conversation, so I asked myself and other students, how can art & design change anything for the better?
This book is a collection of the 30 most interesting ideas that have been written on my posters during a pop-up exhibition, series of workshops, and other random meetings. In this publication, you will meet 30 poster authors, but the exhibition itself was visited by over 50 students, teachers, and alumni.
CHANGE was also an initiative to promote the work of other students. On the last pages, you will find the best projects from the event that relate to climate change, social justice, and the impact of media on our self-perception.

Working in analogue mediums or with non-digital data sources put the 'you' back into the project.
