This is a Final Major Project created by Jiahui Shao (BA Graphic and Media Design, London College of Communication) and Yanya Cheng (BA Fashion: Design with Marketing, Central Saint Martins).
This project is a branding of the interstellar adventure. When we look up at the stars, we want to look at the beauty around us with a down to earth perspective. Our project is an attempt to remind people of the beauty of their surroundings through the lens of looking up at the stars. Time is always continuous, it cannot be separated from the past.
So we felt that retro-futuristic was very representative of the mix of time, both past and future, a style that often refers to unfamiliar spaces such as spaceships. And this space within the spaceship has some links to scenes in our lives. So the sense of space and the sense of time are both restructured in this style.
We divide time and space into positive and negative poles, deriving four conclusions.

SpaceShip to CH∞ planet_3D Workshop
CH∞, a new planet is found.
It is a parallel world made up of data.
People who live on it are collectively known as "CH∞p".
One day, accidentally, people discovered a way to get to "CH∞" – by travelling on a data ship. And so, a new era begins...
Digital Store_3D Workshop
With this project, I focused more on 3D production. The idea came from the metaverse, which I understand to be a purely digital world. For the fashion industry, people might in the future be able to use VR to touch and decide the items they want to buy in a virtual world. One of the things I'm interested in is digital clothing.
I have created a spaceship using blender. The viewer can tap into the different branches by clicking on the options within the spaceship.
In addition, I have made the planet and what it looks like inside.
