Hello, I'm Aaron. I am a multidisciplinary designer from America currently based in London. My areas of interest include 3D, motion, and sound design with a particular focus on creative and art direction. I am invested in perspective driven content that observes the nuances of our everyday experience, and how that experience can be translated into contemplative and considerate design outcomes.

This is a speculative project fulfilling a brief to do with digitally realizing a new world. The theme of this project employs the cyclical nature of existing in an urban environment through the use of 3D visualisation, photography, music, and sound design. By focusing on naturally looping spaces such as trains, I wanted to explore the idea that individuality played just as important a role in the development of a city's personality as industrial infrastructure.

Kanji

This project also utilizes 3D and sound design to illuminate the differences between English words, and their respective Kanji characters in Japanese. Primarily, this focuses on how the information density within a Kanji character, far surpasses an English word, which typically relies on grammatical tools such as adjectives or figures of speech to communicate deeper and more complex sentiments. I wanted this project to feel at once like traditional Japanese cinema, and a modern work of design.
